GM Diet - Day 2

Most people would find day1 a little challenging. Let's face the horrible truth, most of us aren't in very good shape, and just like a new workout, it's going to hurt a little before the results start becoming visible. However, if you've survived the first day, welcome to day2 of the gm diet plan.

Day 2 in the GM diet, is all about the vegetables with the exception of tomatoes. It may as well be called "Mothers 'I told you so' Day". Our dear moms have been on our cases since we were babes, to eat our vegetables. Had we listened to her then, we probably would have not had to look at this diet plan in the first place. Hindsight is always 20-20. Coming back to the second of the GM diet. This is another "all you can eat" day. Listed below are recommendations for food items to be consumed on day 2:

  1. Carrots
  2. Cucumbers
  3. Green vegetables like lettuce, celery, spinach, cabbage, cauliflower. These can be cooked or can be consumed as part of salads.
  4. Potato (you may start your day with 1 potato with a teaspoon of butter and salt)
Just like day1, the main difference is the menu for the day. You may face similar challenges as the first day but it should still be easier than the first day because the second day allows more energy with the potato in the morning. Eat at regular intervals in order to avoid hunger spells during the day.

Precautions: You may start exercising or resume your workout routine slightly by going to simpler and less stressful routines in order to avoid too much effort as the body would be low on energy. It is recommended that you may work out in the morning itself. Also, drink plenty of water at regular intervals during the day. GM diet and exercise would be the ideal combination in order to see the best results but nothing should be overdone and put your overall health in jeopardy. So take it slow
